Cerebral Infarction Associated with Crohn’s Disease: A Case Report and Review of Literature

Abstract

Cerebral infarction in the inflammatory bowel disease was rarely reported, especially in Crohn’s disease. In this article, we report a 38-year-old male with Crohn’s disease 
subsequently developed cerebral infarction. By reviewing the literature, we further discussed the relationship between the two diseases and seek the optimal treatment for the thromboembolisms in Crohn’s disease.
