1. The paper entitled “Constituents of Nelumbo nucifera Leaves”, authored by Vijai K. Agnihotri, Hala N. ElSohly, Sabana I. Khan, Vaishali C. Joshi, Ikhlas A. Khan” received best Poster Award in “5th Oxford International Conference on the Science of Botanicals (Quality, Safety and Processing of Botanical Products), 2006, p. 17. Held on August 21-24 at University of Mississippi, MS, USA.
2. The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) awarded Prof. M. L. Khorana Memorial best paper award (Rs. 10000/- cash and memento) in the field of “Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry & Alternative Medicine and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” for the year 2013 to the paper entitled "Evaluation of antioxidant activity of Picrorhiza kurroa (leaves) extracts" authored by "Kamal Kant, Mayanka Walia, Vijai K Agnihotri*, Vijaylata Pathania, Bikram Singh" published in Indian J Pharm Sci, 2013, 75(3):324-9 (The award was given on June 6th, 2015).
3. The paper entitled “Comparative Estimation of Natural Colors and Dyes from some Selected Pteridophytes Growing in Western Himalayas” authored by “Meetu Verma, Aarti Wali, Sumit Dhadwal, Brij Lal, Alka Kumari, Arun K Sinha, Vijai K Agnihotri*” got best poster award, 3rd prize in National Conference on “Modern Approaches to Pteridophytes: Biology, Biodiversity and Bioresource”, 2014, 72-73, held on Dec 20-21 at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, HP, India.
4. The paper entitled “Essential Oils Composition of Cultivated Clones of Juniperus communis” authored by “Antim K Maurya, Gopi Chand, Vijai K Agnihotri*” got best poster award, 3rd prize in International Congress & Expo 2018 “Navigating Future of Essential Oils” on August 5, 2018 at Sheraton grand Bengaluru Whitefield, Hotel & Convention Center organized by “Essential Oil Association of India.

Dr. Tzi Bun NG is currently working as a professor at Department of Biochemistry, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed his undergraduate studies in the University of Hong Kong and was then awarded a Commonwealth scholarship to pursue his PhD studies in the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. He received postdoctoral training at the University of California in San Francisco, USA and conducted sabbatical research at Imperial College London UK. He has authored over 600 papers registered in Pub Med and over 80 invited book chapters. He has served as reviewer for many journals.

Neda Milinkovic currently works at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia. Their current project is 'Biomarkers of organ damage and dysfunction'.

Neda Milinković graduated in 2002 at the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. From 2002 to 2018, she was employed at the Center for Medical Biochemistry of the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade, where she worked as a graduate pharmacist-medical biochemist, and from 2012 as a specialist in medical biochemistry. In 2014, she received her PhD from the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. She has been engaged as a part-time Teaching Associate at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy since 2011. In 2013, she was elected Assistant for the scientific field of Medical Biochemistry at the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. She is engaged in practical classes at the Integrated Academic Studies at the Department of Medical Biochemistry. From 2018 to 2021, she was employed as an Assistant with a PhD, and from 2021, she was employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. Since 2018, she has been a participant in the project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, ON175036 "Biomarkers of organ damage and dysfunction". She was elected a Research Associate at the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy in 2020. She acquired the professional title of specialist in laboratory specialization in laboratory endocrinology in 2021. She is the mentor and member of the student scientific research and the Commission for master’s thesis. She is a member of the Society of Medical Biochemists of Serbia (SMBS), where she participates in the implementation of the program of continuous medical education and has been a member of the Chamber of Biochemists of Serbia since its establishment. Since 2018, she has been a corresponding member of the Working Group of the European Association for Laboratory Medicine (EFLM) for accreditation and ISO/CEN standards. She is a member of the European Academy for Laboratory Medicine Specialists (EuSpLM). She is the author of over 50 publications and papers published in prominent international and domestic journals and a reviewer of many international prominent journals.

Dr. Bechan Sharma, Professor and Ex-Head, Biochemistry Department, & Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Allahabad, has research interests in Mol. Biol. of HIV, Molecular Toxicology, Free Radical Biology, Tropical Disease Research (TDR) and Drug Discovery. We are currently involved in identifying specific targets of actions of different xenobiotics and plant based antiHIV-1 drugs in collaboration with Kyoto University, Japan & Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar, India.

Dr. Rojeet Shrestha is a technical director at Patients Choice Laboratories, Indiana. He completed his Ph.D. and post-doctoral training in clinical chemistry from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Shrestha was involved in teaching medical laboratory technology students as an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Shrestha has authored more than 45 scientific articles and over a dozen presentations in various international conferences of clinical chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. He is an executive member of the Committee for Internet and eLearning and eAcademy Coordinator of the IFCC and Committee for Communication and Publication of the APFCB. He is a member of AACC since 2009 and currently serves as an Education Officer in the Lipoproteins and Vascular Disease Division and as an editor on the Clinical Laboratory News of AACC.
